I’ve made a commitment to start blogging, to start giving back to the online community which I’ve learnt so much from over the years.
Who am I ?
Well, I’m just a tech guy with a lot of business interest. I’m from South Africa. I grew up in Durban and I now reside in Johannesburg. I enjoy using technology to solve the problems we have (and don’t know we have) to make working life easier for everyone and make tech a more valuable to business.
I beleive that tech can serve business in order for business to serve business and tech.
how will I be giving back ?
The first part of my plan is share knowledge I come across. As I learn more, discover more, or just feel a piece needs to be shared. I will place it up here.
Next is tutorials, basic to advanced tutorials focused on specific topics is always helpful.
Finally requests, is there something you would like an article for ? something you are struggling with ? send me a request and I’m sure I can slot it in.
So what am I going to be focusing on ?
Well, my main focus will bee SQL Server and C#, however this will not stop me from straying into related topics such as ASP.NET MVC or WCF etc, nor will it prevent me from entering less related topics such as MYSQL or PHP.
I believe that knowledge should be freely available and I do not plan on charging for this server, this is my commitment and now my hobby.
